At Veritas Home Care, we are a nurse led, private pay agency with a management team who brings 45+ years of industry experience to the organization. Veritas Home Care was founded by an experienced and caring registered nurse, Amy Ford, in 2022. Her mission in starting Veritas Home Care was to provide a higher standard of care, improving the lives of seniors in Springfield, Missouri. She is devoted to offering uncompromising care and services that allow people to stay in their homes as their care needs change.
We are committed to being a trusted care partner in navigating the journey of aging gracefully while demanding a higher standard of care for seniors in our community. Based on our personal experiences, our goal is to offer caring support for seniors in the comfort of their own homes. Acknowledging the challenges in home care, we focus on eliminating these barriers to make care at home successful.

With over 14 years as a nurse, I've dedicated myself to the care of individuals facing complex and often serious illnesses in Southwest Missouri. This journey has fueled my passion for founding a company that enhances the lives of seniors in our community who prefer to stay at home despite evolving care needs. I firmly believe that caring for others in their time of greatest need is a significant part of my life's purpose. Driven by this passion and supported by my husband's encouragement, I've had been privileged to establish a company with a culture aimed at addressing critical care issues and eliminating obstacles to care at home. The ability to devise a thorough care plan, crafted by clients or their families and executed by a confident Care Team, is the true essence of home care. Veritas Home Care is privileged to offer such care to you.

“When my parents decided it was a good idea to start receiving some help at home, together we interviewed several companies and easily settled on Veritas. We based our judgement on the interview with not only Amy, the owner of the company, but also one with the recommended care giver. This was the only company that allowed us to interview the actual care giver. It was an easy choice based upon that second interview.Since that day we have seen some declining health. Amy answered her phone no matter when I called. She helped us with a plan to prep my parents to accept the extra hours. Soon after we increased the number of days and hours such that we now have 2 care givers. They are both kind, respectful, generous and thoughtful. They offer companionship,house cleaning, a watchful eye on medicines, and even meal preparations. Eventually we will need nursing care and we hope to stay with Veritas for that as well.
