Veritas Home Care is a nurse-led, private-pay home care agency, supported by a management team with over 65 years of industry experience.
Veritas Home Care was founded by an experienced and caring registered nurse, Amy Ford, in 2022. Recognizing the existing gaps in home care, her mission in establishing Veritas Home Care is to enhance the lives of seniors in Springfield, Missouri, and neighboring regions by providing an elevated standard of care that reshapes perceptions of in-home services. She is committed to delivering uncompromised care and service, enabling individuals to remain in their homes as their care requirements evolve.
We are committed to being a trusted care partner in navigating the journey of aging gracefully while demanding a higher standard of care for seniors in our community. Based on our personal experiences, our goal is to offer caring support for seniors in the comfort of their own homes. Acknowledging the challenges in home care, we focus on eliminating these barriers to make care at home successful.

Amy answered her phone no matter when I called. She helped us with a plan to prep my parents to accept the extra hours. Soon after we increased the number of days and hours such that we now have 2 care givers. They are both kind, respectful, generous and thoughtful. They offer companionship,house cleaning, a watchful eye on medicines, and even meal preparations. Eventually we will need nursing care and we hope to stay with Veritas for that as well.
